Hello Hello Hello!
Welcome to my Blog :) thanks for stopping by! This is my first ever, im popping my cherry and entering an unknown world, so forgive me if i don't do it all right LOL
A little summary about me, my life and my family to get me started!
I am Alana, 23years old and Engaged to my gorgeous next to perfect, well not quite but he will do ;) Daniel. We have a amazingly gorgeous and sweet 18 month old Daughter Selena who was born on 29.09.09 at 9.09pm (9 must be her lucky number) Selena is just THE BEST!! thing to ever happen to us. Makes me smile a million times over each and every day!
We just got a really really cute english staffy puppy, she was born on Valentines day this year which is also
the date Daniel Proposed in 2009 so it just seemed appropriate to call her Valentina (vali for short).
We love her although she is driving us a bit mental (as puppies do)
Right now we are waiting to move into our dream home which we purchased in Feb this year SOOO EXCITED!!!
Although we have just sold our townhouse which is Settling on the 18th Apr and our tenants in our
new place are yet to move out! SCARY!! We may just be homeless soon :( All should hopefully fall into place
soon though! If not we will need to bunk at my parents and store our things! so not the end of the world but extremely FRUSTRATING!!
We are also TTC with baby #2 and this has proven to be the most testing time me and daniel have had so far. I fell really easily with Selena and we were only TTC officially for 1 month. So far this time around we have been TTC since June 2010, so we are now going into our 11th month.
After 6 months TTC we decided to visit our GP, who decided that i could possibly not be ovulating due to the Depoprovan injections i have had as contraceptoin since giving birth. I had 2 needles, one in Nov 09 and one in the end of May 10. I was refered to see a Specialist Dr A., went and seen him and long story cut short, he was a &^% hole!! Sent Daniel and me for a whole heap of tests and ended up basically wasting our money for unnecissary things. Daniel had his spermed checked, he was more then fine ;).. I had everything checked and nothing could be shown as to why I was failing to Ovulate. Dr A.'s diagnosis for me not falling pregnant was that it wasnt the Depo neeedle and that I was too overweight to fall pregnant and i need to
loose 10+kgs and return to see him in 3 months!! Obsurd!
I decided that it was a load of shite and returned to see my GP who agreed with me!! :) :) :) and so nicely of him refered me to a different doctor.
I was sooo excited to be getting a second opinion as the first opinion left me so heartbroken and disapointed in the Doctor I had seen, I felt Used and torn as to what to do next.
On Tues of this week, I seen Dr B., he was FANTASTIC!! i was soooooooooo happy with the appointment! He gave me a full checkup, a pap smear to (yuk) and after the consult, he said that my absent ovulation WAS due to the Depo needle which has flat lined my FSH and LH hormones and gave me a prescription for Clomid 50mg to raise my hormones and hopefully kick start some ovulation and get me up the duff! So IM HOPING it works soon, like this month cos i cant wait to get pregnant! Even knowing that when im in the later stages of pregnancy i will probably regret all of this and be saying WHY WHY WHY did i do this!!
So please follow me on my journey its going to be very excited!!
Moving house, decorating, dealing with a terror puppy, a over bubbly and talkative toddler and mostly my journey to baby number 2! Also the day to day runnings of a Stay at Home Mum, which can be fun, wild weird
mostly wonderful and also a bit boring at times :) (well not for the next few months ;) )
